My name is Estelle Rubenstein but most people call me Stella. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of California.
I have spent the past 15 years working with children, adolescents, adults, families and communities who want to change their lives. I have worked in many therapeutic settings with a wide variety of clients whose challenges include alcohol and drug addictions, foster care and adoption issues, parenting skills, gender identity, aging issues, depression, life transitions, relationships, grief and loss, and sexual abuse. This experience is all very helpful in understanding your needs.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic recreation from San Diego State University and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California.
I have also given workshops on Art Therapy and led therapeutic workshops.
